Yes, Bespoke stone is what we do best. We have worked on some of the most elaborate projects over the years and we always welcome them. From garden furniture to car charging points. We can also provide window headers and sills, steps, water features etc.

What is the difference between Yorkstone and cheaper alternatives like Indian sandstone?2020-08-16T18:52:13+00:00

Yorkstone is a premium stone, used to pave the UK for hundreds of years and there is a good reason for this. It is more durable, less brittle, less breakable and is the perfect stone for the Great British weather. Yorkstone is much more environmentally friendly than imported stone coming from across the globe. Our stonemasons are all well paid and extremely happy in creating your stone for you, unlike the child labour unfortunately involved in so much imported stone.

What happens if my stone arrives damaged?2020-08-16T18:51:15+00:00

In the unlikely event your stone arrives with more than 5% of the total order damaged, please sign the delivery note as damaged and contact us straight away. We will try our hardest to replace your damaged stone in the shortest time possible. Damaged stone can still be used for cuts if it is less than 5% of the total order.

Yes, we encourage customers to request samples to ensure they are pleased with the quality of our stone.  We will send out a 10cm x 10cm sample on a next day delivery service upon request. Click here to request a sample.

Delivery is free on all orders over £1,450+VAT, Yorkstone will be delivered on a standard pallet delivery service within 5 working days of payment being received. If you require Hiab delivery this will incur and additional cost.

Is next day delivery available on all orders?2020-08-16T18:48:57+00:00

If the order is place before 10:30 am and we have ready stock, we will always strive to deliver on a next day service. Alternatively, we can arrange to deliver stone on a day chosen by you.

When it comes to delivery of your Yorkstone, we use hauliers that we know and trust. Delivery can either be by standard pallet delivery, Hiab delivery or arctic lorry. There are many things to consider when arranging delivery, please contact us to discuss your project.

Will I need extra stone for wastage and cuts?2020-08-16T18:48:28+00:00

Yes, we would advise you order a minimum of 5% extra stone for your project although 10% is industry standard.

How do I calculate the area I need to pave?2020-08-16T18:47:22+00:00

To calculate the square meterage of your project you multiply the length of the area by the width.
